Rito is the third feature of the flamenco trilogy La piedra y el centro. IMPULSO (2018), with flamenco dancer Rocío Molina, and TRANCE (2021), with flautist and saxophonist Jorge Pardo, were the first two volumes, dedicated to dance and music. Rito focuses on flamenco singing, with cantaor Tomás de Perrate as its main character. The trilogy is both an exploration of the artistic creation of some of the most important performers of our time and a musical experience within a cinematic narrative, discovering a "modern geography" of flamenco, now immersed in a new golden age.
